  •  A medical weight loss consultation and a blood panel must be completed prior to starting our program. Approval from our Medical Director may take from 7-12 business days. Nurse Maria will provide a Quest lab slip for the tests and will also accept lab results obtained from your primary care provider within 90 days of your consultation. The required blood tests include: TSH, Complete Blood Count, Comprehensive Metabolic Panel, Triglycerides, and Hemoglobin A1C. Please note that lab costs are not included in the program pricing.

  • When injected into specific muscles, neurotoxins temporarily paralyzes them, leading to a reduction in the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

  • You will see smoothing of fine lines and wrinkles within 3-5 days and a full two weeks to fully settle.

  • The most common adverse reactions are (6.1):

    • Glabellar Lines: Eyelid Ptosis (3%)

    • Lateral Canthal Lines: Eyelid Edema (1%)

    • Forehead Lines: Headache (9%) and Brow Ptosis (2%)

  • Neurotoxin injections have minimal downtime. You may experience mild swelling and bruising that can last up to 3-5 days. You should avoid strenuous exercise and makeup for 24 hours after treatment. Please avoid facial massages for at least two (2) weeks, and avoid blood thinners (smoking, drinking, alcohol, ibuprofen). 

  • Dermal fillers are an injectable gel made from either hylauronic acid or polylactic acid to restore volume. Neurotoxins such as Botox, Xeomin and Dysport temporarily relax muscles to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles.

  • On average neurotoxin results last from 3-4 months. Various factors impact the longevity of your neurotoxin including metabolism, exercise levels, and sun exposure. Dermal fillers last from 1-2 years depending on the area treated and the type of filler.

  • Mild discomfort can be expected when receiving injectables. We provide various pain reduction methods to ensure your appointment is as pain free as possible.
